He found his passion in a wide range of musical styles at a young age, which influenced his works to cover a wide variety of genres, including contemporary classical, musical theatre, film score, pop music, religious music and multimedia works. His major works include Cueva de las Manos for wind quintet which has been performed and broadcasted on RTHK Radio 4 in 2018, and was later commissioned to perform in the Music Salon 2021 by the Hong Kong Wind Kamerata; 2047 for solo piano, which got first in the Young Artist International group of the Golden Key Music Festival Piano Composition Competition.; Stroll for acappella, which was performed by the Sregnis Singers in the Hong Kong Contemporary Music Festival 2020: Asian Delights on 19 December 2020; The Arc for solo organ and orchestra, which was premiered on 28 May 2021 by the Academy Symphony Orchestra in the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts; in 2023, he composed and premiered his English musical, Annabelle: Guardian Angel.; and, Allegory of Cave, a multimedia work involving video, dance and music, premiered on 1 May 2021.
Besides, he also works as a music arranger, conductor and lyricist, mainly writing in Cantonese and English. He arranges for his pop music works and multiple musical theartre works, including the Butterfly Lover and the Shanty’s Story. He also writes lyrics for his works including Stone Soup the musical and Stroll. He is now the composer in residence for Art Mentor, currently composing for their show choir and the upcoming musical theatre productions.
Besides composing, he also actively works in performing roles, including Zoo as Metaphor II; Online Lecture Series: Eight History-Making Music Inventions; and, keyboardist in Left Hand Side.
